Be Generous With Your Thoughts.

I’ve never been very concerned about copyright issues in design. If someone’s so stuck, or so untrained, that they need to use your ideas, view it as a compliment. After all, you can easily find another idea and they can’t, so who’s the winner in the long run? I was greatly moved by Louise Bourgeois’s last exhibition that featured her declaration, “I give everything away.” I hope that we can be this generous with our creative thinking.
